I never learned to play, via a teacher, I did take one lesson though, but the teacher asked my mom not to being me back because i kept jumping around the room screaming trying to smash my guitar over his head...so, my mom found a way to get me to just play. she had lots of records and my father was a big time bass player for huge names like Roy Buchannan and Diana Ross, Bobby Rydel, Frankie Vallie, lots of people. She hoped it was in me somewhere. I went on tour with my dad and Roy Buchannan and he taught me a few things and he told my mom, "that kid has got it" So she bought me a book of guitar tab chords and I listened to her beatles records and just figured out all of the parts even thye piano parts on guitar and piano. But at a family outing one of my uncles played in a traditional gypsy band and it just floored me....My hands don;t work in the traditional sense but I knonw I can play it. I will buy a flamenco over the winter...a classical guitar will be much different than your electric...very cool indeed..Frank Brigandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04751831130432649051noreply@blogger.com
